9th INTERNATIONAL ETICS CONFERENCE

The Polish Association for ETICS (SSO) invites you to the next, already ninth, edition of the International ETICS Conference. This year, we invite you to Łódź, where on May 25-26, 2023, in the conference rooms of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, we will talk about ETICS. ETICS, which celebrates its 65th anniversary this year, has been Europe’s most widely used material and technical solution to improve energy efficiency. About 300 million square meters of insulated external walls of buildings on our continent testify to the scale of ETICS’ success. During the 9th International ETICS Conference, representatives of European Technical Assessment Bodies will talk about ETICS: ITB (Robert Geryło, Mariia Goron, Ewa Sudoł), Łukasiewicz – ICiMB (Małgorzata Niziurska) and Łukasiewicz – WIT (Artur Miros). There will also be speeches by Sebastian Wall, who heads the work of the European Organization for Technical Assessment (EOTA), Ralf Pasker – managing director of the European ETICS Association (EAE), and Jan te Bos – general director of the European Insulation Manufacturers Association (Eurima). Romana Friedrichová (Technical Institute of Fire Protection, Prague), Torsten Richter (Leibnitz University Hannover), Gennadiy Farenyuk from the Ukrainian State Research Institute of Building Constructions, Beata Gutarowska (Lodz University of Technology), and Piotr Pawlak (MIWO) will also talk about the different dimensions of the ETICS. The results of two research projects carried out by associations of producers will be presented during the Lodz conference. The first one related to the fire safety of ETICS was performed by one of the SSO members – the Polish Association of EPS Producers. Its results will be presented by Bartłomiej Papis, professionally associated with the ITB. The second one concerned inter-laboratory comparisons of measuring the adhesive strength of the adhesive used in the ETICS, carried out by sixteen SSO members.
In Lodz, we will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of SSO.
